Rev. Dr. Bill Peterson
Editor

William D. (Bill) Peterson graduated from Wheaton College in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He proceeded to earn a Master of Arts degree in 1965 followed by a Ph.D. in 1972, both from Michigan State University.

Bill was on the faculty of Purdue University from 1971 to 1975 followed by serving in the position of Vice President for Student Life at Whitworth College in Spokane, WA for 7 ½ years. For almost 5 years he was in private practice counseling and consulting. At that point Bill and his family moved back to Michigan, where he was in administration at Central Michigan University.

In 1991 Bill’s life began its formal transition into ministry when he enrolled at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He earned a M.Div. Degree in 1994, the year in which he was also ordained as a Minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). At the time of his ordination he was also installed as Pastor of Salem Presbyterian Church in Southern Indiana. He concurrently worked part-time in the Higher Education Unit of the PC(USA).

In 2000, Bill and Kathy moved back to Spokane, WA where Bill became an interim pastor, serving congregations in the State of Washington and in North Idaho. He retired upon his 70th  birthday in 2013.

The Still FaithFull After All These Years blog had its origins as Daily Prayers from Pastor Bill, during his service as Interim Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Coeur d’Alene, ID. The development of this website has been a long-held dream, and its completion is a further development of a vital e-ministry.
